It is very natural for dogs to pull on the leash while walking. That's when they feel they have control of
where they want to go. But do you know that the more you allow them to do it, the harder it will be for
you to control them. For small breeds, pulling is not much of a problem. But for medium & large breeds,
that is a BIG problem!
Remember they have four strong legs and you only got two!
It is very important for strong pulling dogs to be trained the proper "heeling" to avoid injuries to the
arm, neck and shoulder of the handler.
The advantage of our One-On-One home service program is that we train exactly where you walk and
play with your dog. This way, he or she will develop the discipline that you want him/her to have in the
midst of the usual distractions that you encounter daily.
Once the training is finished, walking would be more fun, relaxing and enjoyable to both you and your
dog.

OBEDIENCE TRAINING at Willow Park and Veterans Park in Cypress, CA.

HEELING must begin the moment you bring your dog out for a walk. He must continue to heel until you command him otherwise.

|
|
Part of the customized training is to teach the dog not to step beyond the curb, or not to cross the street unless commanded. This particular training can save your dog's precious life!

We train the owner how to handle the dog the way the trainer does. This is done in the Transfer of Commands. Normally, the Transfer would take 4 or 5 sessions depending on how fast the owner gets the lesson.
